Bluepulse's News

Amazing.

This year, I have been chosen to host the school dance (completely irrelevant to %99.9999 of you, but still). This means I'm playing techno like NO ONE CAN. Even better, I have a live mix of all my most popular songs and mainstream pop dance songs planned out. Still in the works, but I should have the live mix done by the 25th, just in time for the dance. SO, if you are relevant to what I'm saying, please leave a comment on what your fav song from me is, and what you think goes good with it. I already have a hefty list of good songs, so all I need is YOU.

Also, here is the temporary artwork for "Yellow", by yours truly.

Cheers,
-Mac

ALSO: Thank you all for voting on "City Nights III (Red)"!
Last I checked, it was 11th up on the list of all techno songs on Newgrounds!
A BIG THANKS to all of you! =D

If you haven't noticed, lately someone has been a troll, and has voted DOWN all my ratings as soon as I upload them. Because of this, the ratings do not seem as appealing as they would usually. So, as a consequence, I have been forced to vote all my ratings first, at 5. While this is not fair, people can only vote them down starting from there, and not start the voting at like 2, for instance, with many of my new submissions.

Maybe they're just being honest in saying my music sucks, but if so, please leave a review. Don't be an @$$. That's just sore.

Also!

I have finished the final artwork for RED (this time, including vocalist Cici) and doing some minor final touches (removing acne from Seth, etc.). Anyway, if you download any of the songs from my RED album, make sure to snag some artwork on your way!

While I'm on it, I should also mention that the YELLOW album has begun! Girlfriend From The 60's will be the premiere track (http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/liste n/273778), followed with great tracks afterwards. Keep an eye out on the page for any new changes including new songs!

Comments and suggestions always appreciated, and I hope to hear from all of you soon!

One Thing I'd like to Address...

Now you have listened to my music for a while. You're probably asking yourself, "Why doesn't bluepulse make more upbeat-pushing-the-bpm-past-160 music?

The answer to that's honestly quite simple: I like to savor my music.

In other words, say you have two artists. One is a hardcore techno DJ who always pushes his speed slider all the way past what's possible to dance. You can't really dance to that music because it's way too fast. The OTHER artist keeps his music at about 130-140 average (a little more, little less). People can dance to that, chill to it, or just listen and actually savor all the parts of that song. Your mind starts realizing different synths, beats, and before you know it, you have a song you actually want to download.

See, right there is ME. I'm not saying that there's a problem with faster, more repetitive music. I'm just saying that I do things differently because I'm an audio-scientist (better known as a DJ).

Just a thought...

In the meantime, enjoy the album art from the Green album ("City Morning II" through "Iron")

Just a thought...

It's incredible how I started this site just under a month ago now and I already have some rave reviews! Thanks for listening, and expect a WHOLE LOT more Electro music coming your way. I'd take a picture of my workspace, but right now, it's quite consumed by wires and beer cans, so I'll just post a nice picture of the album artwork for my NEW album (in progress) entitled, "RED" (the white guy on the right's me, Mac, and the black guy's one of my collaborators).

Thanks again for listening and being a great person!
